Los días avanzan a una velocidad pasmosa....
Sin darme cuenta Mayo "se terminó"...
Sólo cuando esté todo preparado para el viaje será cuando los días pasen lentamente...
Los que me conocen saben lo organizado y meticuloso que soy. Este viaje debería haber estado organizado hace ya más de un mes y sin embargo estoy a mitad de camino.
Los motivos diversos: Tardar en decidirme la moto a llevar, retraso en los accesorios que siempre vienen de península, Alemania o China; extras desde Suzuki que a día de hoy aún no han llegado, etc.
Todo esto sumado al estres del trabajo han hecho que en varias ocasiones se me pasara por la cabeza olvidar este viaje y retrasarlo hasta el año que viene.
En resumidas cuentas... perdiendo los nervios porque solo faltan 38 días!!!
Dar la vuelta al planeta en tan cortito periodo de tiempo supone un grandísimo esfuerzo, más del que muchos suponen. Diez horas diarias conduciendo, un día y otro.. y otro.. y otro.... al final son muchos días y muchas horas.
En grandes rasgos, el viaje tiene tres partes: La primera más tranquila (Europa), la segunda para temblar (Rusia) y la tercera de relax (USA).
Todas estas partes son diferentes entres si. Lo único que tienen en común es en el disfrute... desde el kilómetro cero hasta el último...
La primera parte, Europa, quiero pasarla cuanto antes para tener más tiempo en Rusia y USA. Por ello sería formidable tener quien "tire" de mi. Llevar una liebre delante me haría avanzar muchos más kilómetros diarios.
Dicho y hecho, solo comentarlo con los grandes amigos y conseguí otros dos "locos" para la primera parte: Antonio con su Triump Tiger "Dulciena" y Fernando con su BMW "Pavela" me acompañarán hasta la frontera con Rusia.... PERFECTO!!!!!
Domingo en la tarde motos al garaje. Por primera vez Jimena, Pavela y Dulcinea se van a conocer!!!!

The "all mighty powerful" waiting ...
The days go by quickly.... And without realizing it May "is over" ...
Only when the things for the trip are all well prepared is when the days go by slowly.
Those
who know me, know how organized and meticulous I am. This trip should
have been organized over a month ago and yet I am halfway done.
The various reasons why it's taking too long: Deciding on the
bike wear, the accessories delay always come Peninsula, Germany and
China; Goodies from Suzuki that were supposed to come today that have
not yet arrived, and so on. All this, plus the stress of work, have made
me realize I should forget about this trip and postpone it till next
year.
In short ... I'm losing it because theres only 38 days left!
Going
around the planet in such a short time for me takes great effort, more
than everyone else thinks. Ten hours a day driving one day after and
another .. and another .. and another .... In the end there are many
days and hours. In broad terms, the journey has three parts: The first
which is quiet (Europe), the second to tremble (Russia) and the third
relaxation (USA). The only thing that they all have in common is that
you can enjoy the journey from beginning to end.
The first phase, Europe, I want to pass
this part as quickly as I can that way I have more time to spend in
Russia and USA. Said and done, the only comment I have is that I have
great friends and two other "crazy" ones for the first part: Antonio
with his Triumph Tiger "Dulciena" Fernando and his BMW "Pavela" will
accompany me to the Russian border .... PERFECT !!
Sunday afternoon, motorcycles are placed in the garage. For the first time Jimena, Pavela and Dulcinea will meet!!
Ahora ya no es una, ni dos, sino tres motos que tengo que dejar listas para el viaje!

Por suerte tanto Pavela como Dulcinea tienen poco que modificar. A ellos les espera un viaje de 10.000km.
Antonio necesita un lubricador de cadena, conexión GPS y puños calefactables, además de una revisión general bien afondo.
Fernando y su BMW sólo necesitan la conexión GPS. El resto ya está listo.
Luckily both Pavela as Dulcinea have little to modify.
They
have 10,000 km ahead of them waiting on this trip. Antonio needs a
chain oiler, heated grips and a GPS connection, and a general good afond
review. Fernando and his BMW just need the GPS connection. The rest is
ready.
Desde mañana comenzaré a toda prisa con las adaptaciones, revisiones e instalación de accesorios.
Starting tomorrow I will begin to hurry up with the adjustments, revisions, and installing all the accessories
