Eso es lo que me ocurre...
Si pudiera probar y decir "esta moto si, esta moto no"... seria todo perfecto. Pero como no me dejan llegar hasta La Siberia para probar la moto, pues me tengo que conformar con andar buscando información de aquí y de allá.
En la feria de motos EICMA 2012, conocí las nuevas Triumph para trail. Me quedé gratamente sorprendido. La 1200 me parece demasiado grande y pesada para mi viaje, pero la XC800 me parece fantástica.
Ligera, potente y aparentemente bien construida.
Allí conocí a la jefa de marketing de Triumph España y hemos quedado de volver a vernos en Madrid después de la feria.
Hoy le he escrito un email contándole con más detalles el proyecto y todas las publicaciones que he tenido con viajes anteriores.
Veremos en próximos días su respuesta y si por fin nos reunimos para acordar las condiciones del viaje...

With or without a Triump motorcycle?
I will not hide the fact that I find myself between a rock and a hard place right now, Ever since I made the trip through the American continent with all the good and bad experiences, I have become more and more demanding and distrustful when it comes to choosing the perfect bikes.
Have you ever tried selling a product without really knowing what you're selling?
Well that's what's happening to me ... If i can prove with facts which bike is the one, that would be perfect.
Since they don't let me get to Siberia to test drive it myself, I have to settle for reseaching it myself from here.
On 2012 at the EICMA Motorcycle Fair, I met the Head of marketing for Triumph. I was very impressed. The 1200 seems too large and heavy for my trip, but the XC800 is fantastic. Lightweight, powerful and seemingly well built. At the fair I met the head of marketing of Triumph Spain and we have agreed to meet again in Madrid after the fair is over.
Today I sent her an email telling her more in detail about the project and all the press that I've done with my previous trips. We will see in the next couple of days and if she answers and agrees to meet with me to talk about the conditions of the trip.
