Comienzan las despedidas. Canarias en moto.

Si te dieran la oportunidad de elegir un regalo de cumpleaños, el mejor regalo de cumpleaños....

Qué pedirías?

Con 10 añitos hubiera pedido un coche teledirigido, sin duda.

Con 15 la bicicleta de moda...

y ahora con cuarenta y tantos... estar rodeado de gente que me quiera.

Un puñado de locos subidos sobre dos ruedas. 

Un proyecto: recorrer las 7 islas Canarias en 7 días. 

La locura de proponerse sacar una foto en todos y cada uno de los 88 pueblos que forman las islas Canarias.

Y yo de cumpleaños!!!!

Que mejor oportunidad para reunirnos en una mesa, hablar, comer, soñar, respirar, exagerar, mentir y disfrutar sobre el tema que más nos gusta: Las motos!!!! 

Ya desde temprano en la mañana comenzó la organización. Treinta personas para almorzar... TREINTA????

The goodbyes begin. Canaries on bike. 

If you were given the opportunity to choose a birthday gift, the best birthday gift ever .... What would it be?

If I was 10 years old I would provably ask for a remote control racing car for sure.

if I was 15, a bicycle... 

and now I'm in my forties ...all I wish for is to be surrounded by the people who love me. 

A handful of crasy guys on two wheels. 

The project: go around the 7 Canary Islands in 7 days on bike.

And the pretentious idea of wanting to a picture in each and every one of the 88 villages that make up the Canary Islands. 

It's my birthday!! and what a better opportunity to reunite with friend, share a nice meal at my table, and then we eat, daydream, breath, exaggerate, lie and talk aboout the biggest passion we all share which is our bikes!! 

Since early that morning we started organizing our trip. Thirty people for lunch ... THIRTY??Jose Joan and Mauro, the first "volunteers" to peel "potatoes" ... Antonio the head chef, who was responsible for feeding so many people ...

Mientras yo me dedico a la "artillería".... Había que dejar a "las niñas" limpias y relucientes...

Katty, Pavela, Dulcinea, Linda, Inés, Margarita y Jimena....

While I'm dedicated to the "artillery" .... we had to leave the "girls" sparkling and clean ...

Poco a poco comienzan a llegar llegar los primeros invitados...  Fernando en representación de "Autorepuestos Fierro-Suzuki".  Sorprendido con la V-strom que hace dos meses puso en mis manos.... La estrella que dará la vuelta al mundo.

 One by one the first guests begin to arrive ... Fernando, representing "Autorepuestos Fierro-Suzuki" who was very surprised to see the V-strom that he had  placed in my hand about two months ago. The star that will go around the world.

De pronto se escucha el rugir de motores... una.. dos... tres... ocho... doce... veintidós... treinta.. TREINTA!!!!

Jamás habían llegado tantas motos a mi casa... y que motos!!!!!

Colores, motores, ruido y más ruido.... Ingredientes todos para una jornada inolvidable...

 Suddenly the roar of the engines are heard ... one .. two ... three ... eight ... twelve ... twenty ... thirty .. THIRTY!! I never had so many bikes come to my house, so many bikes and motorcycles ...!! The colors, the engines, the noise and lots and lots of noise .... all the main ingredients for an unforgettable day ...

Presentaciones, primeros minutos de charlas, disfrute de nuestras máquinas y sobre todo buenísimo ambiente.

Introducing each other, the first minutes was spent with everyone chatting together, all enjoying our machines and the terrific atmosphere.

 

Con unos 400m2, casi no había espacio "pa tanta gente"!!!!

With approximately 400m2, there were almost no space "for so many people!"!

La gran familia, un montón de buenos y grandes amigos para toda la vida.
Gracias a todos por tan maravilloso detalle, han sido sin duda alguna el mejor regalo de cumpleaños que podía pedir.
Gracias a Fernando (Canarias en moto) por desviar la ruta hasta mi casa.
Gracias a Fernando (Montes de Luna) por las papas.
Gracias a José Joan y a Mauro por pelarlas...
y gracias a nuestro maravilloso chef Antonio, por hacernos disfrutar una vez más de tan preciados manjares y evitar que termináramos pidiendo "pizzas a domicilio"...

Ya saben donde tienen un amigo incondicional, un "club de motos" y el mejor ambiente. Hasta la próxima.

And thanks to our wonderful chef Antonio, for once again preparing a delicious meal that made us avoid ordering "pizza" ...
