Tremende dolor de cabeza me acaba de entrar... Recordar los últimos 4000km de mi viaje anterior, con la moto sobre un camión, con un historial de 14 averías en 45.000km y una última avería que no pude solucionar ni siquiera encontrar quien supiera repararla.
Fue, sin ninguna duda, el "talón de aquiles" en mi viaje anterior: La moto equivocada para el viaje de mi vida.
Avería tras avería... los hoteles parecían talleres... Cada día tenía que desmontar la moto.
First: The bike. I'm Convinced, determined to travel, the route is determined, only now the most important thing is missing: My sidekick. I just gave myself a headache remebering the last 4000km from my previous trip, with the bike on a truck, a record of 14 failures in 45,000 km and the last fault that I could not solve. I couldn't even find anyone who can figure it out how to fix it. It was without a doubt, the "Achilles heel" in my previous trip : The wrong bike for the journey of my life. Breakdown after breakdown ... hotels that seemed mechanical workshops.. every day I had to disassemble the bike.

Si tengo algo muy claro es que esto no volverá a suceder.
Me tomaré el tiempo que sea necesario para tener la mejor moto para esta nueva aventura.
Dentro de todas las características que tiene que tener la moto, la principal para el viaje es la fiabilidad. El mínimo fallo puede dar al trasto con mi viaje y eso no lo voy a permitir.
Hoy en la tarde saldré a comprar todas las revistas de moto que pueda para ponerme al día.
También he llamado a la agencia de viajes para reservar un viaje a Milan (Italia) para asistir a la feria mas importante del mundo de la moto: EICMA 2012.
Veremos que novedades hay en este mundo...
If there is something very clear in my head, is that this will never happen again. I will take as much time as necessary to have the best bike for this new adventure.
Within all the features a bike must have for the trip is reliability. The minimum malfunction/breakdown will mess up my trip and I will not let that happen .
I'll go out this afternoon to buy all the motorcycle magazines I can find just to catch up. I also called the travel agency to book a trip to Milan (Italy) to attend the largest exhibition/Fair of motorcycles in the world: EICMA 2012.
